Hanul Pescarilor was not created to imitate a resort, but to keep the character of the Delta close: thatched roofs, timber, nature-inspired paintings, fishing objects and spaces where people naturally come together.
The inn has grown through people, returning guests and the stories collected over the years. Many arrive for a few days and leave saying the same thing: “Let’s stay a little longer.”
Authentic, not artificial
The inn’s authenticity does not come from scenery built for photographs, but from the way the place is lived every day. The restaurant, pier, courtyard, pavilion and rooms carry the character of fishing traditions and life on the Sulina branch.
We do not try to turn the Delta into a hotel. We offer the comfort guests need while preserving its quiet, rhythm and personality. At Hanul Pescarilor, you do not come only to sleep. You come to feel younger.
Our season
The inn is open every year from 1 March to 31 October. The season begins with the first days of spring and continues into late autumn, with every period revealing a different side of the Delta.
Spring is ideal for nature and quiet, summer for the pool, holidays and long evenings, and autumn for fishing, warm colours and groups seeking a more intimate experience.
